Lars joined military service after his school days. He completed the basic military duties for nine months in Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) which is an infantry regiment in the Danish army's Danish army. He was not convinced that the military work was suitable for him so he began to search for something else and then decided to study biology. As he was busy with this , which was already half a year, Anette came home from an juggler's class and showed him how good she could do juggling after only three days. Lars was thrilled and wanted to learn more. Therefore, he quit college and attended the juggler school. He also studied fire breathing and the art of juggling. After graduation from high school he travelled around Europe with two of his friends which was where he performed on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He came across a circus for children after a few years and began to learn street theatre and children's theater as well as pantomime.
